What to do in Sinsadong Garosu-gil Road
Feb and I, we prefer slow travel. As we only travel once a year, we make sure to stay in one place for a long time, we believe it’s the best way to experience the world. My favorite part of it are the lazy days, we usually allocate a day or two from our itinerary for mindless-walking and coffee-sipping-while-people-watching. Seoul is perfect for this kind of set-up because of their countless streets that are dedicated for coffee shops. I highly recommend Sinsadong’s Garosu-Gil Road.
Ever heard of Garosu-gil Road in Sinsadong? It’s a street in Gangnam that is popular for designer stores and delightfully decorated coffee shops. This street is lined up with Gingko Trees that turns yellow every autumn. Perfect for tête-à-tête with the sister.
Recognized as one of the top spots for fashion, all the storefront here is so stylish. It has a lesser crowd than other known streets, so visitors have a higher chance of taking Instagram worthy photos. A haven for café-hoppers like us, amazing concepts and remarkable coffee. (more on coffee shops on the next posts)
Directions Subway: Line 3, exit 5 of Apgujeong station, exit 8 of Sinsa station.
